Morning Meadow is looking for a new educator to join our team!
We seek an aftercare coordinator to help educate some of Gainesville’s cutest children. We offer a collaborative, respectful working environment where all teachers contribute to the children’s health in our care.
This is a part-time position with a competitive salary and paid vacation time.
This position is Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Duties include working with a mixed-age group of children ages 2.5 to 6;
preparation of aftercare snacks; helping children transition from the school day to the aftercare rhythm; supporting self-directed play; organizing arts and crafts activities; reading books; and other activities when needed.
The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young children, have reliable transportation, and show a willingness to explore Waldorf pedagogy as a young child’s education pathway.
